Nick: I originally wrote this opening story as a video script, then asked Erin to turn my execution-dependent wordplay into a coherent comic strip. I think she did a damn good job.

We open at Ocean Beach, a beach so icy they named it twicey. Sharp little Cliff House in the corner.
